حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ خُلَيْدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمِسْكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هُوَ أَطْيَبُ طِيبِكُمْ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ قَوْلُ:‏‏‏‏ أَحْمَدَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِسْحَاق، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ كَرِهَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ الْمِسْكَ لِلْمَيِّتِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ الْمُسْتَمِرُّ بْنُ الرَّيَّانِ أَيْضًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ عَلِيٌّ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ:‏‏‏‏ الْمُسْتَمِرُّ بْنُ الرَّيَّانِ ثِقَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ يَحْيَى:‏‏‏‏ خُلَيْدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثِقَةٌ.

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مشک کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”یہ تمہاری خوشبوؤں میں سب سے بہتر خوشبو ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے، ۲- اور اسے مستمر بن ریان نے بھی بطریق: «أبي نضرة عن أبي سعيد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» روایت کیا ہے، یحییٰ بن سعید کہتے ہیں کہ مستمر بن ریان ثقہ ہیں، ۳- بعض اہل علم کا اسی پر عمل ہے۔ یہی احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا بھی قول ہے، ۴- اور بعض اہل علم نے میت کے لیے مشک کو مکروہ قرار دیا ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Sa'eed narrated that: The Prophet was asked about musk and he said: It is the best of your perfumes.
