Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, I was granted victory with As-Saba and the nation of 'Ad was destroyed by Ad- Dabur (westerly wind) .

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ .

ہم سے مسلم بن ابراہیم نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے حکم سے بیان کیا، ان سے مجاہد نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مجھے پروا ہوا کے ذریعہ مدد پہنچائی گئی اور قوم عاد پچھوا کے ذریعہ ہلاک کر دی گئی تھی۔
