Baab Namaz May Qasr Kerne Ka Bayan

وَقَالَ اللَّيْثُ : حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى السُّبْحَةَ بِاللَّيْلِ فِي السَّفَرِ عَلَى ظَهْرِ رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ .

Urdu Translation

اور لیث بن سعد رحمہ اللہ نے کہا کہ مجھ سے یونس نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے عبداللہ بن عامر بن ربیعہ نے بیان کیا کہ انہیں ان کے باپ نے خبر دی کہ   انہوں نے خود دیکھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( رات میں ) سفر میں نفل نمازیں سواری پر پڑھتے تھے، وہ جدھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو لے جاتی ادھر ہی سہی۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah bin Amir that his father had told him that he had seen the Prophet (p.b.u.h) praying Nawafil at night on the back of his Mount on a journey, facing whatever direction it took.
