Narrated Um 'Atiyya: When we washed the deceased daughter of the Prophet, he said to us, while we were washing her, Start the bath from the right side and from the parts which are washed in ablution.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : لَمَّا غَسَّلْنَا بِنْتَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَنَا وَنَحْنُ نَغْسِلُهَا : ابْدَأَنَ بِمَيَامِنِهَا وَمَوَاضِعِ الْوُضُوءِ .

ہم سے یحییٰ بن موسیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے وکیع نے بیان کیا، ان سے سفیان نے، ان سے خالد حذاء نے، ان سے حفصہ بنت سیرین نے اور ان سے ام عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صاحبزادی کو ہم غسل دے رہی تھیں۔ جب ہم نے غسل شروع کر دیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ غسل دائیں طرف سے اور اعضاء وضو سے شروع کرو۔
