Baab Hajj Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : قَدِمْتُ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَلَمْ أَطُفْ بِالْبَيْتِ وَلَا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ , قَالَتْ : فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : افْعَلِي كَمَا يَفْعَلُ الْحَاجُّ ، غَيْرَ أَنْ لَا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ حَتَّى تَطْهُرِي .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں امام مالک رحمہ اللہ نے خبر دی، انہیں عبدالرحمٰن بن قاسم نے، انہیں ان کے باپ نے اور انہیں ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے انہوں نے فرمایا کہ   میں مکہ آئی تو اس وقت میں حائضہ تھی۔ اس لیے بیت اللہ کا طواف نہ کر سکی اور نہ صفا مروہ کی سعی۔ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے اس کی شکایت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کی تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ جس طرح دوسرے حاجی کرتے ہیں تم بھی اسی طرح ( ارکان حج ) ادا کر لو ہاں بیت اللہ کا طواف پاک ہونے سے پہلے نہ کرنا۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: I was menstruating when I reached Mecca. So, I neither performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba, nor the Tawaf between Safa and Marwa. Then I informed Allah's Apostle about it. He replied, Perform all the ceremonies of Hajj like the other pilgrims, but do not perform Tawaf of the Ka`ba till you get clean (from your menses).
