Baab Shikar Ke Badle Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ : فُوَيْسِقٌ ، وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ : إِنَّمَا أَرَدْنَا بِهَذَا أَنَّ مِنًى مِنْ الْحَرَمِ ، وَأَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَرَوْا بِقَتْلِ الْحَيَّةِ بَأْسًا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے اسماعیل بن ابی اویس نے بیان کیا، کہا مجھ سے امام مالک نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے عروہ بن زبیر نے اور ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چھپکلی کو موذی کہا تھا لیکن میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ نہیں سنا کہ آپ نے اسے مارنے کا بھی حکم دیا تھا۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha the wife of the Prophet: Allah's Apostle called the salamander a bad animal, but I did not hear him ordering it to be killed.
