Narrated Nafi`: Ibn `Umar recited the verse: They had a choice either to fast or to feed a poor person for every day, and said that the order of this Verse was canceled.

حَدَّثَنَا عَيَّاشٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَرَأَ فِدْيَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَاكِينَ ، قَالَ : هِيَ مَنْسُوخَةٌ .

ہم سے عیاش نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبدالاعلیٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبیداللہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے کہ   عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ( آیت مذکور بالا ) «فديه طعام مسكين» پڑھی اور فرمایا یہ منسوخ ہے۔
