Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَفْتَرِقَا ، وَزَادَ أَحْمَدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، قَالَ : قَالَ هَمَّامٌ : فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، فَقَالَ : كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ لَمَّا حَدَّثَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے حفص بن عمر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ہمام نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے، ان سے ابوالخلیل نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن حارث نے اور ان سے حکیم بن حزام رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، بیچنے اور خریدنے والوں کو جب تک وہ جدا نہ ہوں ( معاملہ کو باقی رکھنے یا توڑ دینے کا ) اختیار ہوتا ہے۔ احمد نے یہ زیادتی کی کہ ہم سے بہز نے بیان کیا کہ ہمام نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے اس کا ذکر ابوالتیاح کے سامنے کیا تو انہوں نے بتلایا کہ جب عبداللہ بن حارث نے یہ حدیث بیان کی تھی، تو میں بھی اس وقت ابوالخلیل کے ساتھ موجود تھا۔

English Translation

Narrated Hakim bin Hizam : The Prophet said, The buyer and the seller have the option of canceling or confirming the deal unless they separate.
