Baab Khareed O Farookht Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ الْمُكْتِبُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ غُلَامًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ فَاحْتَاجَ ، فَأَخَذَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مِنِّي ؟ فَاشْتَرَاهُ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بِكَذَا وَكَذَا ، فَدَفَعَهُ إِلَيْهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے بشیر بن محمد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم کو عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، انہیں حسین مکتب نے خبر دی، انہیں عطاء بن ابی رباح نے اور انہیں جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   ایک شخص نے اپنا ایک غلام اپنے مرنے کے بعد کی شرط کے ساتھ آزاد کیا۔ لیکن اتفاق سے وہ شخص مفلس ہو گیا، تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کے غلام کو لے کر فرمایا کہ اسے مجھ سے کون خریدے گا۔ اس پر نعیم بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے اتنی اتنی قیمت پر خرید لیا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غلام ان کے حوالہ کر دیا۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: A man decided that a slave of his would be manumitted after his death and later on he was in need of money, so the Prophet took the slave and said, Who will buy this slave from me? Nu'aim bin `Abdullah bought him for such and such price and the Prophet gave him the slave.
