Narrated Abu Huraira: A man came to the Prophet and demanded his debts and used harsh words. The companions of the Prophet wanted to harm him, but the Prophet said, Leave him, as the creditor (owner of the right) has the right to speak.

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ يَتَقَاضَاهُ ، فَأَغْلَظَ لَهُ فَهَمَّ بِهِ أَصْحَابُهُ ، فَقَالَ : دَعُوهُ ، فَإِنَّ لِصَاحِبِ الْحَقِّ مَقَالًا .

ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، ان سے یحییٰ نے بیان کیا، ان سے شعبہ نے، ان سے سلمہ نے، ان سے ابوسلمہ نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں ایک شخص قرض مانگنے اور سخت تقاضا کرنے لگا۔ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے اس کی گوشمالی کرنی چاہی تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اسے چھوڑ دو، حقدار ایسی باتیں کہہ سکتا ہے۔
