Baab Ghulamon Ki Azadi Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَمَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ ، فَالْإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَمَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ ، وَالرَّجُلُ فِي أَهْلِهِ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ فِي بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا رَاعِيَةٌ وَهِيَ مَسْئُولَةٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهَا ، وَالْخَادِمُ فِي مَالِ سَيِّدِهِ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ . قَالَ : فَسَمِعْتُ هَؤُلَاءِ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَحْسِبُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : وَالرَّجُلُ فِي مَالِ أَبِيهِ رَاعٍ وَمَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ ، فَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ .

Urdu Translation

سے ابوالیمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو شعیب نے خبر دی، ان سے زہری نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے سالم بن عبداللہ بن عمر نے خبر دی اور انہیں عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”ہر آدمی حاکم ہے اور اس سے اس کی رعایا کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا۔ امام حاکم ہے اور اس سے اس کی رعیت کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا۔ مرد اپنے گھر کے معاملات کا افسر ہے اور اس سے اس کی رعایا کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا۔ عورت اپنے شوہر کے گھر کی افسر ہے اور اس سے اس کی رعایا کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا۔ خادم اپنے آقا ( سید ) کے مال کا محافظ ہے اور اس سے اس کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا۔“ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ باتیں سنی ہیں اور مجھے خیال ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ بھی فرمایا تھا کہ مرد اپنے باپ کے مال کا محافظ ہے اور اس سے اس کی رعیت کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا۔ غرض تم میں سے ہر فرد حاکم ہے اور سب سے اس کی رعیت کے بارے میں سوال ہو گا۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: That he heard Allah's Apostle saying, Everyone of you is a guardian and is responsible for his charge; the ruler is a guardian and is responsible for his subjects; the man is a guardian in his family and responsible for his charges; a woman is a guardian of her husband's house and responsible for her charges; and the servant is a guardian of his master's property and is responsible for his charge. I definitely heard the above from the Prophet and think that the Prophet also said, A man is a guardian of his father's property and responsible for his charges; so everyone of you is a guardian and responsible for his charges.
