Baab Ghusl Ke Ehkaam O Masail

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ دَعَا بِشَيْءٍ نَحْوَ الْحِلَابِ ، فَأَخَذَ بِكَفِّهِ فَبَدَأَ بِشِقِّ رَأْسِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ ، ثُمَّ الْأَيْسَرِ ، فَقَالَ : بِهِمَا عَلَى وَسَطِ رَأْسِهِ .

Urdu Translation

محمد بن مثنیٰ نے ہم سے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابوعاصم (ضحاک بن مخلد) نے بیان کیا، وہ حنظلہ بن ابی سفیان سے، وہ قاسم بن محمد سے، وہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے۔ آپ نے فرمایا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب غسل جنابت کرنا چاہتے تو حلاب کی طرح ایک چیز منگاتے۔ پھر ( پانی کا چلو ) اپنے ہاتھ میں لیتے اور سر کے داہنے حصے سے غسل کی ابتداء کرتے۔ پھر بائیں حصہ کا غسل کرتے۔ پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو سر کے بیچ میں لگاتے تھے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: Whenever the Prophet took the bath of Janaba (sexual relation or wet dream) he asked for the Hilab or some other scent. He used to take it in his hand, rub it first over the right side of his head and then over the left and then rub the middle of his head with both hands.
