Baab Wasiyaton Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : ارْكَبْهَا ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ ، قَالَ : فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ ارْكَبْهَا ، وَيْلَكَ أَوْ وَيْحَكَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے قتادہ نے اور ان سے انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دیکھا کہ ایک شخص قربانی کا اونٹ ہانکے لیے جا رہا ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے فرمایا کہ اس پر سوار ہو جا۔ اس صاحب نے کہا یا رسول اللہ! یہ قربانی کا اونٹ ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تیسری یا چوتھی بار فرمایا افسوس! سوار بھی ہو جا یا آپ نے «ويلك» کی بجائے «ويحك» فرمایا جس کے معنی بھی وہی ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: The Prophet saw a man driving a Badana (i.e. camel for sacrifice) and said to him, Ride on it. The man said, O Allah's Apostle! It is a Bandana. (The Prophet repeated his order) and on the third or fourth time he said, Ride it, (woe to you or said: May Allah be merciful to you).
