حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ وَابْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْجَعْدِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ، قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ : عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، تَابَعَهُ مُسَدَّدٌ ، عَنْ هُشَيْمٍ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے حفص بن عمر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے حصین اور ابن ابی السفر نے، ان سے شعبی نے اور ان سے عروہ بن جعد رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”قیامت تک گھوڑے کی پیشانی کے ساتھ خیر و برکت بندھی رہے گی۔“ سلیمان نے شعبہ کے واسطہ سے بیان کیا کہ ان سے عروہ بن ابی الجعد رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس روایت کی متابعت ( جس میں بجائے ابن الجعد کے ابن ابی الجعد ہے ) مسدد نے ہشیم سے کی، ان سے حصین نے، ان سے شعبی نے اور ان سے عروہ ابن ابی الجعد نے۔

English Translation

Narrated Urwa bin Ja'd: The Prophet (saws) said, Good will remain (as a permanent quality) in the foreheads of horses till the Day of Resurrection.
