Baab Khums Ky Faraiz Hone Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : تَكَفَّلَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ جَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِهِ لَا يُخْرِجُهُ إِلَّا الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ وَتَصْدِيقُ كَلِمَاتِهِ بِأَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ أَوْ يَرْجِعَهُ إِلَى مَسْكَنِهِ الَّذِي خَرَجَ مِنْهُ مَعَ مَا نَالَ مِنْ أَجْرٍ أَوْ غَنِيمَةٍ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے اسماعیل بن ابی اویس نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے کہا مجھ سے امام مالک رحمہ اللہ نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابوالزناد نے ‘ ان سے اعرج نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جو اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرے ‘ جہاد ہی کی نیت سے نکلے ‘ اللہ کے کلام ( اس کے وعدے ) کو سچ جان کر ‘ تو اللہ اس کا ضامن ہے۔ یا تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو شہید کر کے جنت میں لے جائے گا ‘ یا اس کو ثواب اور غنیمت کا مال دلا کر اس کے گھر لوٹا لائے گا۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, Allah guarantees him who strives in His Cause and whose motivation for going out is nothing but Jihad in His Cause and belief in His Word, that He will admit him into Paradise (if martyred) or bring him back to his dwelling place, whence he has come out, with what he gains of reward and booty.
