Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ لَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ ، وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ ، وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَصَلُّوا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن مثنیٰ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے بیان کیا، ان سے اسماعیل ابی خالد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے قیس بن ابی حازم نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابومسعود انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”سورج اور چاند میں کسی کی موت یا حیات پر گرہن نہیں لگتا۔ بلکہ یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے نشانی ہیں اس لیے جب تم ان میں گرہن دیکھو تو نماز پڑھو۔“

English Translation

Narrated Abu Mas`ud: The Prophet said, the sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death or life of someone, but they are two signs amongst the Signs of Allah. So, if you see them, offer the Prayer (of eclipse).
