Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ عُمَرُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَحَسَّانُ يُنْشِدُ ، فَقَالَ : كُنْتُ أُنْشِدُ فِيهِ وَفِيهِ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ ، ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، فَقَالَ : أَنْشُدُكَ بِاللَّهِ أَسَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : أَجِبْ عَنِّي اللَّهُمَّ أَيِّدْهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے زہری نے بیان کیا، ان سے سعید بن مسیب نے بیان کیا کہ   عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ مسجد میں تشریف لائے تو حسان رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ میں اس وقت یہاں شعر پڑھا کرتا تھا جب آپ سے بہتر شخص ( آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) یہاں تشریف رکھتے تھے۔ پھر حسان رضی اللہ عنہ، ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور کہا کہ میں تم سے اللہ کا واسطہ دے کر پوچھتا ہو کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے تم نے نہیں سنا تھا کہ اے حسان! ( کفار مکہ کو ) میری طرف سے جواب دے۔ اے اللہ! روح القدس کے ذریعہ حسان کی مدد کر۔ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ ہاں بیشک ( میں نے سنا تھا ) ۔

English Translation

Narrated Sa`id bin Al-Musaiyab: `Umar came to the Mosque while Hassan was reciting a poem. (`Umar disapproved of that). On that Hassan said, I used to recite poetry in this very Mosque in the presence of one (i.e. the Prophet ) who was better than you. Then he turned towards Abu Huraira and said (to him), I ask you by Allah, did you hear Allah's Apostle saying (to me), Retort on my behalf. O Allah! Support him (i.e. Hassan) with the Holy Spirit? Abu Huraira said, Yes.
