Baab Is Bayan May Ke Makhlooq Ki Pedaish Kiunkar Shuru Hui

فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا لُبَابَةَفَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : لَا تَقْتُلُوا الْجِنَّانَ إِلَّا كُلَّ أَبْتَرَ ذِي طُفْيَتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ يُسْقِطُ الْوَلَدَ وَيُذْهِبُ الْبَصَرَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ .

Urdu Translation

پھر میری ملاقات ایک دن ابولبابہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے ہوئی، تو انہوں نے مجھے خبر دی کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”پتلے یا سفید سانپوں کو نہ مارا کرو۔ البتہ دم کٹے ہوئے سانپ کو جس پر دو سفید دھاریاں ہوتی ہیں اس کو مار ڈالو، کیونکہ یہ اتنا زہریلا ہے کہ حاملہ کے حمل کو گرا دیتا ہے اور آدمی کو اندھا بنا دیتا ہے۔“

English Translation

Later on I met Abu Lubaba who told me the Prophet said, 'Do not kill snakes except the short-tailed or mutilated-tailed snake with two white lines on its back, for it causes abortion and makes one blind. So kill it.'
