حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَلَمْ تَرَيْ أَنَّ قَوْمَكِ لَمَّا بَنَوْا الْكَعْبَةَ اقْتَصَرُوا عَنْ قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَلَا تَرُدُّهَا عَلَى قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، فَقَالَ : لَوْلَا حِدْثَانُ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ ، فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ : لَئِنْ كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ سَمِعَتْ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أُرَى ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : تَرَكَ اسْتِلَامَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ يَلِيَانِ الْحِجْرَ إِلَّا أَنَّ الْبَيْتَ لَمْ يُتَمَّمْ عَلَى قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَقَالَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف تنیسی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو امام مالک نے خبر دی، انہیں ابن شہاب نے، انہیں سالم بن عبداللہ نے کہ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو ابن ابی بکر نے خبر دی اور انہیں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”تمہیں معلوم نہیں کہ جب تمہاری قوم نے کعبہ کی ( نئی ) تعمیر کی تو کعبہ کی ابراہیمی بنیاد کو چھوڑ دیا۔“ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! پھر آپ ابراہیمی بنیادوں کے مطابق دوبارہ اس کی تعمیر کیوں نہیں کر دیتے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر تمہاری قوم کا زمانہ کفر سے قریب نہ ہوتا ( تو میں ایسا ہی کرتا ) عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ جب کہ یہ حدیث عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنی ہے تو میرا خیال ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان دونوں رکنوں کے، جو حجر اسود کے قریب ہیں، بوسہ لینے کو صرف اسی وجہ سے چھوڑا تھا کہ بیت اللہ ابراہیم علیہ السلام کی بنیاد پر نہیں بنا ہے ( یہ دونوں رکن آگے ہٹ گئے ہیں ) اسماعیل بن ابی اویس نے اس حدیث میں عبداللہ بن محمد بن ابی بکر کہا۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: (The wife of the Prophet) Allah's Apostle said (to her). Don't you see that when your folk built the Ka`ba, they did not build it on all the foundations built by Abraham? I said, O Allah's Apostle! Why don't we rebuild it on the foundations of Abraham? He said. But for the fact that your folk have recently given up infidelity (I would have done so). Narrated Ibn `Umar: Aisha must have heard this from Allah's Apostle for I see that Allah's Apostle used not to touch the two corners facing Al-Hijr only because the House had not been built on the foundations of Abraham.''
