حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، سَمِعْتُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَا تَدْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ تَكُونُوا بَاكِينَ ، أَنْ يُصِيبَكُمْ مِثْلُ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے عبداللہ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے وہب نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ان کے والد نے بیان کیا ‘ انہوں نے یونس سے سنا ‘ انہوں نے زہری سے ‘ انہوں نے سالم سے اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جب تمہیں ان لوگوں کی بستی سے گزرنا پڑے جنہوں نے اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا تھا تو روتے ہوئے گزرو۔ کہیں تمہیں بھی وہ عذاب آ نہ پکڑے جس میں یہ ظالم لوگ گرفتار کئے گئے تھے۔“

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Apostle said, Do not enter the ruined dwellings of those who were unjust to themselves unless (you enter) weeping, lest you should suffer the same punishment as was inflicted upon them.
