حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا : فَرَجَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى خَدِيجَةَ يَرْجُفُ فُؤَادُهُ فَانْطَلَقَتْ بِهِ إِلَى وَرَقَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا تَنَصَّرَ يَقْرَأُ الْإِنْجِيلَ بِالْعَرَبِيَّةِ ، فَقَالَ : وَرَقَةُ مَاذَا تَرَى فَأَخْبَرَهُ ، فَقَالَ : وَرَقَةُ هَذَا النَّامُوسُ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَى مُوسَى وَإِنْ أَدْرَكَنِي يَوْمُكَ أَنْصُرْكَ نَصْرًا مُؤَزَّرًا النَّامُوسُ صَاحِبُ السِّرِّ الَّذِي يُطْلِعُهُ بِمَا يَسْتُرُهُ عَنْ غَيْرِهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف تنیسی نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا کہ مجھ سے عقیل نے بیان کیا ‘ ان سے ابن شہاب نے ‘ انہوں نے عروہ بن زبیر سے سنا ‘ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ   عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا ‘ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( غار حراء سے ) ام المؤمنین خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس لوٹ آئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا دل دھڑک رہا تھا۔ خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہا آپ کو ورقہ بن نوفل کے پاس لے گئیں، وہ نصرانی ہو گئے تھے اور انجیل کو عربی میں پڑھتے تھے۔ ورقہ نے پوچھا کہ آپ کیا دیکھتے ہیں؟ آپ نے انہیں بتایا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ یہی ہیں وہ «ناموس» جنہیں اللہ تعالیٰ نے موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے پاس بھیجا تھا اور اگر میں تمہارے زمانے تک زندہ رہا تو میں تمہاری پوری مدد کروں گا۔ «ناموس» محرم راز کو کہتے ہیں جو ایسے راز سے بھی آگاہ ہو جو آدمی دوسروں سے چھپائے۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet returned to Khadija while his heart was beating rapidly. She took him to Waraqa bin Naufal who was a Christian convert and used to read the Gospels in Arabic Waraqa asked (the Prophet), What do you see? When he told him, Waraqa said, That is the same angel whom Allah sent to the Prophet) Moses. Should I live till you receive the Divine Message, I will support you strongly.
