Baab Nabi Saw Ke Ashaab Ki Fazeelat

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ ، فَقَالَ : مَتَى السَّاعَةُ ؟ ، قَالَ : وَمَاذَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا ؟ قَالَ : لَا شَيْءَ إِلَّا أَنِّي أُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ . قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَمَا فَرِحْنَا بِشَيْءٍ فَرَحَنَا بِقَوْلِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ : فَأَنَا أُحِبُّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ , وَعُمَرَ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ مَعَهُمْ بِحُبِّي إِيَّاهُمْ وَإِنْ لَمْ أَعْمَلْ بِمِثْلِ أَعْمَالِهِمْ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حماد بن زید نے بیان کیا، ان سے ثابت نے اور ان سے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ   ایک صاحب ( ذوالخویصرہ یا ابوموسیٰ ) نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے قیامت کے بارے میں پوچھا کہ قیامت کب قائم ہو گی؟ اس پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تم نے قیامت کے لیے تیاری کیا کی ہے؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کچھ بھی نہیں، سوا اس کے کہ میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے محبت رکھتا ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ پھر تمہارا حشر بھی انہیں کے ساتھ ہو گا جن سے تمہیں محبت ہے۔“ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ہمیں کبھی اتنی خوشی کسی بات سے بھی نہیں ہوئی جتنی آپ کی یہ حدیث سن کر ہوئی کہ ”تمہارا حشر انہیں کے ساتھ ہو گا جن سے تمہیں محبت ہے۔“ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ میں بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اور ابوبکر و عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے محبت رکھتا ہوں اور ان سے اپنی اس محبت کی وجہ سے امید رکھتا ہوں کہ میرا حشر انہیں کے ساتھ ہو گا، اگرچہ میں ان جیسے عمل نہ کر سکا۔

English Translation

Narrated Anas: A man asked the Prophet about the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment) saying, When will the Hour be? The Prophet said, What have you prepared for it? The man said, Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Apostle. The Prophet said, You will be with those whom you love. We had never been so glad as we were on hearing that saying of the Prophet (i.e., You will be with those whom you love. ) Therefore, I love the Prophet, Abu Bakr and `Umar, and I hope that I will be with them because of my love for them though my deeds are not similar to theirs.
