Sahih Bukhari 3876 - The Merits Of Al-Ansar

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : بَلَغَنَا مَخْرَجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ بِالْيَمَنِ فَرَكِبْنَا سَفِينَةً فَأَلْقَتْنَا سَفِينَتُنَا إِلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ بِالْحَبَشَةِ ، فَوَافَقْنَا جَعْفَرَ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَأَقَمْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا , فَوَافَقْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ افْتَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَكُمْ أَنْتُمْ يَا أَهْلَ السَّفِينَةِ هِجْرَتَانِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن علاء نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابواسامہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے برید بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوبردہ نے اور ان سے ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   جب ہمیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ہجرت مدینہ کی اطلاع ملی تو ہم یمن میں تھے۔ پھر ہم کشتی پر سوار ہوئے لیکن اتفاق سے ہوا نے ہماری کشتی کا رخ نجاشی کے ملک حبشہ کی طرف کر دیا۔ ہماری ملاقات وہاں جعفر بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ سے ہوئی ( جو ہجرت کر کے وہاں موجود تھے ) ہم انہیں کے ساتھ وہاں ٹھہرے رہے، پھر مدینہ کا رخ کیا اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس وقت ملاقات ہوئی جب آپ خیبر فتح کر چکے تھے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تم نے اے کشتی والو! دو ہجرتیں کی ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Musa: We received the news of the departure of the Prophet (to Medina) while we were in Yemen. So we went on board a ship but our ship took us away to An-Najashi (the Negus) in Ethiopia. There we met Ja`far bin Abi Talib and stayed with him till we came (to Medina) by the time when the Prophet had conquered Khaibar. The Prophet said, O you people of the ship! You will have (the reward of) two migrations.
