حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا أَقْبَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ تَبِعَهُ سُرَاقَةُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ , فَدَعَا عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَسَاخَتْ بِهِ فَرَسُهُ ، قَالَ : ادْعُ اللَّهَ لِي وَلَا أَضُرُّكَ فَدَعَا لَهُ ، قَالَ : فَعَطِشَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَرَّ بِرَاعٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : فَأَخَذْتُ قَدَحًا فَحَلَبْتُ فِيهِ كُثْبَةً مِنْ لَبَنٍ , فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَشَرِبَ حَتَّى رَضِيتُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے غندر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابواسحاق نے، کہا میں نے براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا   جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مدینہ کے لیے روانہ ہوئے تو سراقہ بن مالک بن جعشم نے آپ کا پیچھا کیا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کے لیے بددعا کی تو اس کا گھوڑا زمین میں دھنس گیا۔ اس نے عرض کیا کہ میرے لیے اللہ سے دعا کیجئے ( کہ اس مصیبت سے نجات دے ) میں آپ کا کوئی نقصان نہیں کروں گا، آپ نے اس کے لیے دعا کی۔ ( اس کا گھوڑا زمین سے نکل آیا ) رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایک مرتبہ راستے میں پیاس معلوم ہوئی اتنے میں ایک چرواہا گزرا۔ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ پھر میں نے ایک پیالہ لیا اور اس میں ( ریوڑ کی ایک بکری کا ) تھوڑا سا دودھ دوہا، وہ دودھ میں نے آپ کی خدمت میں لا کر پیش کیا جسے آپ نے نوش فرمایا کہ مجھے خوشی حاصل ہوئی۔

English Translation

Narrated Al-Bara: When the Prophet migrated to Medina, Suraqa bin Malik bin Ju'sham pursued him. The Prophet invoked evil on him, therefore the forelegs of his horse sank into the ground. Suraqa said (to the Prophet ), Invoke Allah to rescue me, and I will not harm you. The Prophet invoked Allah for him. Then Allah's Apostle felt thirsty and he passed by a shepherd. Abu Bakr said, I took a bowl and milked a little milk in it and brought it to the Prophet and he drank till I was pleased.
