حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْبَدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْآيَتَانِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ مَنْ قَرَأَهُمَا فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ , قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَنِيهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے موسیٰ بن اسماعیل نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے، ان سے ابراہیم نخعی نے، ان سے عبدالرحمٰن بن یزید نخعی نے، ان سے علقمہ بن یسعی نے اور ان سے ابومسعود بدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ سورۃ البقرہ کی دو آیتیں ( «امن الرسول» سے آخر تک ) ایسی ہیں کہ جو شخص رات میں انہیں پڑھ لے وہ اس کے لیے کافی ہو جاتی ہیں۔ عبدالرحمٰن نے بیان کیا کہ پھر میں نے خود ابومسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملاقات کی، وہ اس وقت بیت اللہ کا طواف کر رہے تھے۔ میں نے ان سے اس حدیث کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے یہ حدیث مجھ سے بیان کی۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Masud Al-Badri: Allah's Apostle said, It is sufficient for one to recite the last two Verses of Surat-al-Baqara at night.
