حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرٌ ، أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا حَدَّثَهُمْ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحَجَّةٍ ، فَقَالَ أَهَلَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْحَجِّ وَأَهْلَلْنَا بِهِ مَعَهُ ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ قَالَ : مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ فَلْيَجْعَلْهَا عُمْرَةً ، وَكَانَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَدْيٌ ، فَقَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ مِنْ الْيَمَنِ حَاجًّا ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : بِمَ أَهْلَلْتَ ، فَإِنَّ مَعَنَا أَهْلَكَ ؟ قَالَ : أَهْلَلْتُ بِمَا أَهَلَّ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : فَأَمْسِكْ ، فَإِنَّ مَعَنَا هَدْيًا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے بشر بن مفضل نے بیان کیا، ان سے حمید طویل نے، کہا ہم سے بکر بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے ذکر کیا کہ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان سے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عمرہ اور حج دونوں کا احرام باندھا تھا اور ہم نے بھی آپ کے ساتھ حج ہی کا احرام باندھا تھا۔ پھر ہم جب مکہ آئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جس کے ساتھ قربانی کا جانور نہ ہو وہ اپنے حج کے احرام کو عمرہ کا احرام کر لے ( اور طواف اور سعی کر کے احرام کھول دے ) اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ قربانی کا جانور تھا۔ پھر علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ یمن سے لوٹ کر حج کا احرام باندھ کر آئے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے دریافت فرمایا کہ تم نے کس طرح احرام باندھا ہے؟ ہمارے ساتھ تمہاری زوجہ فاطمہ بھی ہیں۔ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ میں نے اسی طرح کا احرام باندھا ہے جس طرح آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے باندھا ہو۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ پھر اپنے احرام پر قائم رہو، کیونکہ ہمارے ساتھ قربانی کا جانور ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet assumed the state of Ihram for Umra and Hajj, and we to assumed it for Hajj with him. When we arrived at Mecca, the Prophet said, Whoever does not possess a Hadi should regard his Ihram for Umra only. The Prophet had a Hadi with him. `Ali bin Abi Talib came to us from Yemen with the intention of performing Hajj. The Prophet said (to him), With what intention have you assumed the Ihram, for your wife is with us? `Ali said, I assumed the lhram with the same intention as that of the Prophet . The Prophet said, Keep on the state of lhram, as we have got the Hadi.
