حَدَّثَنَا يَسَرَةُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ جَمِيلٍ اللَّخْمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاطِمَةَ عَلَيْهَا السَّلَام فِي شَكْوَاهُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ فَسَارَّهَا بِشَيْءٍ فَبَكَتْ ، ثُمَّ دَعَاهَا فَسَارَّهَا بِشَيْءٍ فَضَحِكَتْ ، فَسَأَلْنَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ ، فَقَالَتْ : سَارَّنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ يُقْبَضُ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ فَبَكَيْتُ ، ثُمَّ سَارَّنِي فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنِّي أَوَّلُ أَهْلِهِ يَتْبَعُهُ فَضَحِكْتُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے یسرہ بن صفوان بن جمیل لخمی نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابرہیم بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے ان کے والد نے، ان سے عروہ نے اور ان سے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ   مرض الموت میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو بلایا اور آہستہ سے کوئی بات ان سے کہی جس پر وہ رونے لگیں۔ پھر دوبارہ آہستہ سے کوئی بات کہی جس پر وہ ہنسنے لگیں۔ پھر ہم نے ان سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے بتلایا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے فرمایا تھا کہ آپ کی وفات اسی مرض میں ہو جائے گی، میں یہ سن کر رونے لگی۔ دوسری مرتبہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے جب سرگوشی کی تو یہ فرمایا کہ آپ کے گھر کے آدمیوں میں سب سے پہلے میں آپ سے جا ملوں گی تو میں ہنسی تھی۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet called Fatima during his fatal illness and told her something secretly and she wept. Then he called her again and told her something secretly, and she started laughing. When we asked her about that, she said, The Prophet first told me secretly that he would expire in that disease in which he died, so I wept; then he told me secretly that I would be the first of his family to follow him, so I laughed ( at that time).
