Baab Quran Pak Ki Tafseer Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَنْ حَلَفَ يَمِينَ صَبْرٍ لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهْوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَصْدِيقَ ذَلِكَ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلا أُولَئِكَ لا خَلاقَ لَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ سورة آل عمران آية 77 إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةِ ، قَالَ : فَدَخَلَ الْأَشْعَثُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، وَقَالَ : مَا يُحَدِّثُكُمْ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ؟ قُلْنَا : كَذَا وَكَذَا ، قَالَ : فِيَّ أُنْزِلَتْ ، كَانَتْ لِي بِئْرٌ فِي أَرْضِ ابْنِ عَمٍّ لِي ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : بَيِّنَتُكَ أَوْ يَمِينُهُ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِذًا يَحْلِفَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينِ صَبْرٍ يَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ وَهْوَ فِيهَا فَاجِرٌ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهْوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانٌ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے حجاج بن منہال نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے ابوعوانہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے، ان سے ابووائل نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جس شخص نے اس لیے قسم کھائی کہ کسی مسلمان کا مال ( جھوٹ بول کر وہ ) مار لے تو جب وہ اللہ سے ملے گا، اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر نہایت ہی غصہ ہو گا، پھر اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کے اس فرمان کی تصدیق میں یہ آیت نازل کی «إن الذين يشترون بعهد الله وأيمانهم ثمنا قليلا أولئك لا خلاق لهم في الآخرة» ”بیشک جو لوگ اللہ کے عہد اور اپنی قسموں کو تھوڑی قیمت پر بیچتے ہیں، یہ وہی لوگ ہیں جن کے لیے آخرت میں کوئی بھلائی نہیں ہے۔“ آخر آیت تک۔ ابووائل نے بیان کیا کہ اشعث بن قیس کندی رضی اللہ عنہ تشریف لائے اور پوچھا: ابوعبدالرحمٰن ( عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ ) نے آپ لوگوں سے کوئی حدیث بیان کی ہے؟ ہم نے بتایا کہ ہاں، اس اس طرح سے حدیث بیان کی ہے۔ اشعث رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس پر کہا کہ یہ آیت تو میرے ہی بارے میں نازل ہوئی تھی۔ میرے ایک چچا کے بیٹے کی زمین میں میرا ایک کنواں تھا ( ہم دونوں کا اس بارے میں جھگڑا ہوا اور مقدمہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں پیش ہوا تو ) آپ نے مجھ سے فرمایا کہ تو گواہ پیش کر یا پھر اس کی قسم پر فیصلہ ہو گا۔ میں نے کہا پھر تو یا رسول اللہ وہ ( جھوٹی ) قسم کھا لے گا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جو شخص جھوٹی قسم اس لیے کھائے کہ اس کے ذریعہ کسی مسلمان کا مال لے اور اس کی نیت بری ہو تو وہ اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس حالت میں ملے گا کہ اللہ اس پر نہایت ہی غضبناک ہو گا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Wail: `Abdullah bin Masud said, Allah's Messenger said, 'Whoever takes an oath when asked to do so, in which he may deprive a Muslim of his property unlawfully, will meet Allah Who will be angry with him.' So Allah revealed in confirmation of this statement:-- Verily! Those who Purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah's Covenant and oaths, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter... (3.77) Then entered Al-Ash'ath bin Qais and said, What is Abu `Abdur-Rahman narrating to you? We replied, 'So-and-so. Al-Ash'ath said, This Verse was revealed in my connection. I had a well in the land of my cousin (and he denied my, possessing it). On that the Prophet said to me, 'Either you bring forward a proof or he (i.e. your cousin) takes an oath (to confirm his claim)' I said, 'I am sure he would take a (false) oath, O Allah's Messenger .' He said, 'If somebody takes an oath when asked to do so through which he may deprive a Muslim of his property (unlawfully) and he is a liar in his oath, he will meet Allah Who will be angry with him.'
