حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : هَيْتَ لَكَ سورة يوسف آية 23 ، قَالَ : وَإِنَّمَا نَقْرَؤُهَا كَمَا عُلِّمْنَاهَا مَثْوَاهُ سورة يوسف آية 21 ، مُقَامُهُ وَأَلْفَيَا سورة يوسف آية 25 : وَجَدَا ، أَلْفَوْا آبَاءَهُمْ سورة الصافات آية 69 : أَلْفَيْنَا ، وَعَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ سورة الصافات آية 12 .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے احمد بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے بشر بن عمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے سلیمان نے، ان سے ابووائل نے کہ   عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے «هيت لك» پڑھا اور کہا کہ جس طرح ہمیں یہ لفظ سکھایا گیا ہے۔ اسی طرح ہم پڑھتے ہیں۔ «مثواه‏» یعنی اس کا ٹھکانا، درجہ۔ «ألفيا‏» یعنی پایا اسی سے ہے۔ «ألفوا آباءهم‏» اور «ألفينا‏» ( دوسری آیتوں میں ) اور ابن مسعود سے ( سورۃ الصافات ) میں «بل عجبت ويسخرون‏» منقول ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Wail: `Abdullah bin Mas`ud recited Haita laka (Come you), and added, We recite it as we were taught it.
