Baab Quran Pak Ki Tafseer Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِجِبْرِيلَ : مَا يَمْنَعُكَ أَنْ تَزُورَنَا أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا تَزُورُنَا ، فَنَزَلَتْ وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلا بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا سورة مريم آية 64 .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابونعیم فضل بن دکین نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عمر بن ذر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے اپنے والد سے سنا، ان سے سعید بن جبیر نے اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے فرمایا ”جیسا کہ اب آپ ہماری ملاقات کو آیا کرتے ہیں، اس سے زیادہ آپ ہم سے ملنے کے لیے کیوں نہیں آیا کرتے؟ اس پر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی «وما نتنزل إلا بأمر ربك له ما بين أيدينا وما خلفنا‏» الخ یعنی ”ہم ( فرشتے ) نازل نہیں ہوتے بجز آپ کے پروردگار کے حکم کے، اسی کی ملک ہے جو کچھ ہمارے آگے ہے اور جو کچھ ہمارے پیچھے ہے۔“

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said to Gabriel, What prevents you from visiting us more often than you visit us now? So there was revealed:-- 'And we (angels) descend not but by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us...'(19.64)
