Baab Quran Pak Ki Tafseer Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادٌ هُوَ ابْنُ عِلَاقَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْمُغِيرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى تَوَرَّمَتْ قَدَمَاهُ ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ : غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ ، قَالَ : أَفَلَا أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے صدقہ بن فضل نے بیان کیا، انہیں ابن عیینہ نے خبر دی، ان سے زیاد نے بیان کیا اور انہوں نے مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز میں رات بھر کھڑے رہے یہاں تک کہ آپ کے دونوں پاؤں سوج گئے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کیا گیا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے تو آپ کی اگلی پچھلی تمام خطائیں معاف کر دی ہیں۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کیا میں شکر گزار بندہ نہ بنوں؟

English Translation

Narrated Al-Mughira: The Prophet used to offer night prayers till his feet became swollen. Somebody said, to him, Allah has forgiven you, your faults of the past and those to follow. On that, he said, Shouldn't I be a thankful slave of Allah)?
