حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي بَكْرٌ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ فِي زَمَانِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے بکر نے بیان کیا، ان سے جعفر نے، ان سے عراک بن مالک نے، ان سے عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ بن عتبہ بن مسعود نے بیان کیا کہ   عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں چاند پھٹ گیا تھا۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The moon was cleft asunder during the lifetime of the Prophet.
