Baab Quran Pak Ki Tafseer Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، وَعَبْدَةَ ، عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ الْمُعَوِّذَتَيْنِ ، فَقَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : قِيلَ لِي ، فَقُلْتُ : فَنَحْنُ نَقُولُ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، ان سے عاصم اور عبدہ نے، ان سے زر بن حبیش نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے معوذتین کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ یہ مسئلہ میں نے بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مجھے ( جبرائیل علیہ السلام ) کی زبانی کہا گیا ہے کہ یوں کہئیے کہ «اعوذ برب الفلق» الخ میں نے اسی طرح کہا چنانچہ ہم بھی وہی کہتے ہیں جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہا۔

English Translation

Narrated Zirr bin Hubaish: I asked Ubai bin Ka`b regarding the two Muwwidhat (Surats of taking refuge with Allah). He said, I asked the Prophet about them, He said, 'These two Surats have been recited to me and I have recited them (and are present in the Qur'an).' So, we say as Allah's Messenger said (i.e., they are part of the Qur'an.
