Baab Nikah Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ ، وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ : وَأُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے معلی بن اسد نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے وہب نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام بن عروہ نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے نکاح کیا تو ان کی عمر چھ سال تھی اور جب ان سے صحبت کی تو ان کی عمر نو سال تھی۔ ہشام بن عروہ نے کہا کہ مجھے خبر دی گئی ہے کہ وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نو سال تک رہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old. Hisham said: I have been informed that `Aisha remained with the Prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death).
