Baab Nikah Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ ، فَالْإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ ، وَالرَّجُلُ رَاعٍ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ ، وَالْمَرْأَةُ رَاعِيَةٌ عَلَى بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا وَهِيَ مَسْئُولَةٌ ، وَالْعَبْدُ رَاعٍ عَلَى مَالِ سَيِّدِهِ وَهُوَ مَسْئُولٌ ، أَلَا فَكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْئُولٌ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابوالنعمان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے حماد بن زید نے بیان کیا، ان سے ایوب نے، ان سے نافع نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تم میں سے ہر ایک حاکم ہے اور ہر ایک سے ( اس کی رعیت کے بارے میں ) سوال ہو گا۔ پس امام حاکم ہے اس سے سوال ہو گا۔ مرد اپنی بیوی بچوں کا حاکم ہے اور اس سے سوال ہو گا۔ عورت اپنے شوہر کے مال کا حاکم ہے اور اس سے سوال ہو گا۔ غلام اپنے سردار کے مال کا حاکم ہے اور اس سے سوال ہو گا ہاں پس تم میں سے ہر ایک حاکم ہے اور ہر ایک سے سوال ہو گا۔

English Translation

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar: The Prophet said, Everyone of you is a guardian and everyone of you is responsible (for his wards). A ruler is a guardian and is responsible(for his subjects); a man is a guardian of his family and responsible (for them); a wife is a guardian of her husband's house and she is responsible (for it), a slave is a guardian of his master's property and is responsible (for that). Beware! All of you are guardians and are responsible (for your wards).
