Baab Nikah Ke Masail Ka Bayan

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُلُوسٌ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : بَيْنَمَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ رَأَيْتُنِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، فَإِذَا امْرَأَةٌ تَتَوَضَّأُ إِلَى جَانِبِ قَصْرٍ ، فَقُلْتُ : لِمَنْ هَذَا ؟ قَالُوا : هَذَا لِعُمَرَ ، فَذَكَرْتُ غَيْرَتَكَ فَوَلَّيْتُ مُدْبِرًا ، فَبَكَى عُمَرُ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَجْلِسِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : أَوَعَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَغَارُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبدان نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، انہیں یونس نے، انہیں زہری نے، کہا کہ مجھے سعید بن مسیب نے خبر دی، اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ خواب میں میں نے اپنے آپ کو جنت میں دیکھا۔ وہاں میں نے دیکھا کہ ایک محل کے کنارے ایک عورت وضو کر رہی تھی۔ میں نے پوچھا کہ یہ محل کس کا ہے؟ فرشتے نے کہا کہ عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کا۔ میں ان کی غیرت کا خیال کر کے واپس چلا آیا۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے جو اس وقت مجلس میں موجود تھے اس پر رو دیئے اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا میں آپ پر غیرت کروں گا؟

English Translation

Narrated Abu Huraira: While we were sitting with Allah's Apostle, (he) Allah's Apostle said, While I was sleeping, I saw a woman performing ablution beside a palace. I asked, Whose palace is this?' It was said, 'This palace belongs to `Umar.' Then I remembered his sense of Ghira and returned. On that `Umar started weeping in that gathering and said, O Allah's Apostle! How dare I think of my self-respect being offended by you?
