حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا : أَنَّ قَوْمًا قَالُوا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ قَوْمًا يَأْتُونَا بِاللَّحْمِ لَا نَدْرِي أَذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ أَمْ لَا ، فَقَالَ : سَمُّوا عَلَيْهِ أَنْتُمْ وَكُلُوهُ ، قَالَتْ : وَكَانُوا حَدِيثِي عَهْدٍ بِالْكُفْرِ ، تَابَعَهُ عَلِيٌّ ، عَنْ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيِّ ، وَتَابَعَهُ أَبُو خَالِدٍ ، وَالطُّفَاوِيُّ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن عبیداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے اسامہ بن حفص مدنی نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام بن عروہ نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ   ( گاؤں کے ) کچھ لوگ ہمارے یہاں گوشت ( بیچنے ) لاتے ہیں اور ہمیں معلوم نہیں کہ انہوں نے اس پر اللہ کا نام بھی ( ذبح کرتے وقت ) لیا تھا یا نہیں؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ تم ان پر کھاتے وقت اللہ کا نام لیا کرو اور کھا لیا کرو۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ یہ لوگ ابھی اسلام میں نئے نئے داخل ہوئے تھے۔ اس کی متابعت علی نے دراوردی سے کی اور اس کی متابعت ابوخالد اور طفاوی نے کی۔

English Translation

Narrated `Aisha: A group of people said to the Prophet, Some people bring us meat and we do not know whether they have mentioned Allah's Name or not on slaughtering the animal. He said, Mention Allah's Name on it and eat. Those people had embraced Islam recently.
