حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، وَغُلَامٌ مِنْ بَنِي يَحْيَى رَابِطٌ دَجَاجَةً يَرْمِيهَا ، فَمَشَى إِلَيْهَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ حَتَّى حَلَّهَا ، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ بِهَا ، وَبِالْغُلَامِ مَعَهُ ، فَقَالَ : ازْجُرُوا غُلَامَكُمْ عَنْ أَنْ يَصْبِرَ هَذَا الطَّيْرَ لِلْقَتْلِ ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ تُصْبَرَ بَهِيمَةٌ أَوْ غَيْرُهَا لِلْقَتْلِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے احمد بن یعقوب نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو اسحاق بن سعید بن عمرو نے خبر دی، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے سنا کہ   وہ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے بیان کرتے تھے کہ وہ یحییٰ بن سعید کے یہاں تشریف لے گئے۔ یحییٰ کی اولاد میں ایک بچہ ایک مرغی باندھ کر اس پر تیر کا نشانہ لگا رہا تھا۔ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مرغی کے پاس گئے اور اسے کھول لیا پھر مرغی کو اور بچے کو اپنے ساتھ لائے اور یحییٰ سے کہا کہ اپنے بچہ کو منع کر دو کہ اس جانور کو باندھ کر نہ مارے کیونکہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے آپ نے کسی جنگلی جانور یا کسی بھی جانور کو باندھ کر جان سے مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Umar: that he entered upon Yahya bin Sa`id while one of Yahya's sons was aiming at a hen after tying it. Ibn `Umar walked to it and untied it. Then he brought it and the boy and said. Prevent your boys from tying the birds for the sake of killing them, as I have heard the Prophet forbidding the killing of an animal or other living thing after tying them.
