حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ وَرَخَّصَ فِي لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے سلیمان بن حرب نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے حماد نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو نے، ان سے محمد بن علی نے اور ان سے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جنگ خیبر کے موقع پر گدھوں کے گوشت کھانے سے منع فرما دیا تھا اور گھوڑوں کے لیے رخصت فرما دی تھی۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: The Prophet prohibited the eating of donkey's meat on the day of the battle of Khaibar, and allowed the eating of horse flesh.
