Baab Amraaz Aur In Ke Elaaj Ke Bayan Main

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا مَرِيضٌ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ فَصَبَّ عَلَيَّ ، أَوْ قَالَ : صُبُّوا عَلَيْهِ ، فَعَقَلْتُ ، فَقُلْتُ : لَا يَرِثُنِي إِلَّا كَلَالَةٌ ، فَكَيْفَ الْمِيرَاثُ ؟ ، فَنَزَلَتْ آيَةُ الْفَرَائِضِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن بشار نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے غندر (محمد بن جعفر) نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے محمد بن منکدر نے، کہا کہ میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے یہاں تشریف لائے میں بیمار تھا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا اور وضو کا پانی مجھ پر ڈالا یا فرمایا کہ اس پر یہ پانی ڈال دو اس سے مجھے ہوش آ گیا۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ میں تو کلالہ ہوں ( جس کے والد اور اولاد نہ ہو ) میرے ترکہ میں تقسیم کیسے ہو گی اس پر میراث کی آیت نازل ہوئی۔

English Translation

Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: The Prophet came to me while I was ill. He performed ablution and threw the remaining water on me (or said, Pour it on him) When I came to my senses I said, O Allah's Apostle! I have no son or father to be my heir, so how will be my inheritance? Then the Verse of inheritance was revealed.
