حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ ، يَقُولُ : أَوَّلُ مَنْ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنِي آلُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، فَسَأَلْتُ هِشَامًا عَنْهُ ، فَحَدَّثَنَا ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُحِرَ حَتَّى كَانَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ يَأْتِي النِّسَاءَ وَلَا يَأْتِيهِنَّ ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : وَهَذَا أَشَدُّ مَا يَكُونُ مِنَ السِّحْرِ ، إِذَا كَانَ كَذَا ، فَقَالَ : يَا عَائِشَةُ أَعَلِمْتِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَفْتَانِي فِيمَا اسْتَفْتَيْتُهُ فِيهِ ، أَتَانِي رَجُلَانِ فَقَعَدَ أَحَدُهُمَا عِنْدَ رَأْسِي وَالْآخَرُ عِنْدَ رِجْلَيَّ ، فَقَالَ الَّذِي عِنْدَ رَأْسِي لِلْآخَرِ ، مَا بَالُ الرَّجُلِ ؟ ، قَالَ : مَطْبُوبٌ ، قَالَ : وَمَنْ طَبَّهُ ؟ ، قَالَ : لَبِيدُ بْنُ أَعْصَمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ حَلِيفٌ لِيَهُودَ كَانَ مُنَافِقًا ، قَالَ : وَفِيمَ ؟ قَالَ : فِي مُشْطٍ وَمُشَاقَةٍ ، قَالَ : وَأَيْنَ ؟ قَالَ : فِي جُفِّ طَلْعَةٍ ذَكَرٍ تَحْتَ رَاعُوفَةٍ فِي بِئْرِ ذَرْوَانَ ، قَالَتْ : فَأَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبِئْرَ حَتَّى اسْتَخْرَجَهُ ، فَقَالَ : هَذِهِ الْبِئْرُ الَّتِي أُرِيتُهَا ، وَكَأَنَّ مَاءَهَا نُقَاعَةُ الْحِنَّاءِ ، وَكَأَنَّ نَخْلَهَا رُءُوسُ الشَّيَاطِينِ ، قَالَ : فَاسْتُخْرِجَ ، قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ أَفَلَا أَيْ تَنَشَّرْتَ ، فَقَالَ : أَمَّا اللَّهُ فَقَدْ شَفَانِي ، وَأَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُثِيرَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ شَرًّا .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے عبداللہ بن محمد مسندی نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے سفیان بن عیینہ سے سنا، کہا کہ سب سے پہلے یہ حدیث ہم سے ابن جریج نے بیان کی، وہ بیان کرتے تھے کہ   مجھ سے یہ حدیث آل عروہ نے عروہ سے بیان کی، اس لیے میں نے ( عروہ کے بیٹے ) ہشام سے اس کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے ہم سے اپنے والد ( عروہ ) سے بیان کیا کہ ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر جادو کر دیا گیا تھا اور اس کا آپ پر یہ اثر ہوا تھا آپ کو خیال ہوتا کہ آپ نے ازواج مطہرات میں سے کسی کے ساتھ ہمبستری کی ہے حالانکہ آپ نے کی نہیں ہوتی۔ سفیان ثوری نے بیان کیا کہ جادو کی یہ سب سے سخت قسم ہے جب اس کا یہ اثر ہو پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا عائشہ! تمہیں معلوم ہے اللہ تعالیٰ سے جو بات میں نے پوچھی تھی اس کا جواب اس نے کب کا دے دیا ہے۔ میرے پاس دو فرشتے آئے ایک میرے سر کے پاس کھڑا ہو گیا اور دوسرا میرے پاؤں کے پاس۔ جو فرشتہ میرے سر کی طرف کھڑا تھا اس نے دوسرے سے کہا ان صاحب کا کیا حال ہے؟ دوسرے نے جواب دیا کہ ان پر جادو کر دیا گیا ہے۔ پوچھا کہ کس نے ان پر جادو کیا ہے؟ جواب دیا کہ لبید بن اعصم نے یہ یہودیوں کے حلیف بنی زریق کا ایک شخص تھا اور منافق تھا۔ سوال کیا کہ کس چیز میں ان پر جادو کیا ہے؟ جواب دیا کہ کنگھے اور بال میں۔ پوچھا جادو ہے کہاں؟ جواب دیا کہ نر کھجور کے خوشے میں جو زروان کے کنویں کے اندر رکھے ہوئے پتھر کے نیچے دفن ہے۔ بیان کیا کہ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کنویں پر تشریف لے گئے اور جادو اندر سے نکالا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہی وہ کنواں ہے جو مجھے خواب میں دکھایا گیا تھا اس کا پانی مہندی کے عرق جیسا رنگین تھا اور اس کے کھجور کے درختوں کے سر شیطانوں کے سروں جیسے تھے۔ بیان کیا کہ پھر وہ جادو کنویں میں سے نکالا گیا۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے کہا آپ نے اس جادو کا توڑ کیوں نہیں کرایا۔ فرمایا: ہاں اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے شفا دی اب میں لوگوں میں ایک شور ہونا پسند نہیں کرتا۔

English Translation

Narrated Aisha: Magic was worked on Allah's Apostle so that he used to think that he had sexual relations with his wives while he actually had not (Sufyan said: That is the hardest kind of magic as it has such an effect). Then one day he said, O `Aisha do you know that Allah has instructed me concerning the matter I asked Him about? Two men came to me and one of them sat near my head and the other sat near my feet. The one near my head asked the other. What is wrong with this man?' The latter replied the is under the effect of magic The first one asked, Who has worked magic on him?' The other replied Labid bin Al-A'sam, a man from Bani Zuraiq who was an ally of the Jews and was a hypocrite.' The first one asked, What material did he use)?' The other replied, 'A comb and the hair stuck to it.' The first one asked, 'Where (is that)?' The other replied. 'In a skin of pollen of a male date palm tree kept under a stone in the well of Dharwan' '' So the Prophet went to that well and took out those things and said That was the well which was shown to me (in a dream) Its water looked like the infusion of Henna leaves and its date-palm trees looked like the heads of devils. The Prophet added, Then that thing was taken out' I said (to the Prophet ) Why do you not treat yourself with Nashra? He said, Allah has cured me; I dislike to let evil spread among my people.
