Baab Dawa Aur Elaaj Ke Bayan Main

وَزَادَ اللَّيْثُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : وَسَأَلْتُهُ هَلْ نَتَوَضَّأُ أَوْ نَشْرَبُ أَلْبَانَ الْأُتُنِ ، أَوْ مَرَارَةَ السَّبُعِ ، أَوْ أَبْوَالَ الْإِبِلِ ؟ ، قَالَ : قَدْ كَانَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ يَتَدَاوَوْنَ بِهَا فَلَا يَرَوْنَ بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا ، فَأَمَّا أَلْبَانُ الْأُتُنِ ، فَقَدْ بَلَغَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ لُحُومِهَا وَلَمْ يَبْلُغْنَا عَنْ أَلْبَانِهَا ، أَمْرٌ وَلَا نَهْيٌ ، وَأَمَّا مَرَارَةُ السَّبُعِ ، قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ ، أَنَّ أَبَا ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيَّ ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السَّبُعِ .

Urdu Translation

اور لیث نے زیادہ کیا ہے کہا کہ مجھ سے یونس نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابن شہاب زہری نے کہ   میں نے ابوادریس سے پوچھا کیا ہم ( دوا کے طور پر ) گدھی کے دودھ سے وضو کر سکتے ہیں یا اسے پی سکتے ہیں یا درندہ جانوروں کے پتِے استعمال کر سکتے ہیں یا اونٹ کا پیشاب پی سکتے ہیں۔ ابوادریس نے کہا کہ مسلمان اونٹ کے پیشاب کو دوا کے طور پر استعمال کرتے تھے اور اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں سمجھتے تھے۔ البتہ گدھی کے دودھ کے بارے میں ہمیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی یہ حدیث پہنچی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کے گوشت سے منع فرمایا تھا۔ اس کے دودھ کے متعلق ہمیں کوئی حکم یا ممانعت نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے معلوم نہیں ہے۔ البتہ درندوں کے پتِے کے متعلق جو ابن شہاب نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے ابوادریس خولانی نے خبر دی اور انہیں ابوثعلبہ خشنی رضی اللہ عنہ نے خبر دی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہر دانت والے شکاری درندے کا گوشت کھانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Yunus: I asked Ibn Shihab, May we perform the ablution with the milk of she-asses or drink it, or drink the bile of wild animals or urine of camels? He replied, The Muslims used to treat themselves with that and did not see any harm in it. As for the milk of she-asses, we have learnt that Allah's Apostle forbade the eating of their meat, but we have not received any information whether drinking of their milk is allowed or forbidden. As for the bile of wild animals, Ibn Shihab said, Abu Idris Al-Khaulani told me that Allah's Apostle forbade the eating of the flesh of every wild beast having fangs .
