حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ ، حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَا الْأَسْوَدِ الدُّؤَلِيَّ ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ أَبْيَضُ ، وَهُوَ نَائِمٌ ، ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ وَقَدِ اسْتَيْقَظَ ، فَقَالَ : مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، ثُمَّ مَاتَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ ، إِلَّا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، قُلْتُ : وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ، قَالَ : وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ، قُلْتُ : وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ، قَالَ : وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ، قُلْتُ : وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ، قَالَ : وَإِنْ زَنَى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ، عَلَى رَغْمِ أَنْفِ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، وَكَانَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ إِذَا حَدَّثَ بِهَذَا ، قَالَ : وَإِنْ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ : هَذَا عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ أَوْ قَبْلَهُ ، إِذَا تَابَ وَنَدِمَ ، وَقَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ غُفِرَ لَهُ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے ابومعمر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالوارث نے بیان کیا، ان سے حسین نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن بریدہ نے، ان سے یحییٰ بن یعمر نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابو اسود دیلی نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ   میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو آپ کے جسم مبارک پر سفید کپڑا تھا اور آپ سو رہے تھے پھر دوبارہ حاضر ہوا تو آپ بیدار ہو چکے تھے پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جس بندہ نے بھی کلمہ «لا إله إلا الله» ”اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں“ کو مان لیا اور پھر اسی پر وہ مرا تو جنت میں جائے گا۔ میں نے عرض کیا چاہے اس نے زنا کیا ہو، چاہے اس نے چوری کی ہو، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ چاہے اس نے زنا کیا ہو، چاہے اس نے چوری کی ہو، میں نے پھر عرض کیا چاہے اس نے زنا کیا ہو، چاہے اس نے چوری کی ہو۔ فرمایا چاہے اس نے زنا کیا ہو، چاہے اس نے چوری کی ہو۔ میں نے ( حیرت کی وجہ سے پھر ) عرض کیا چاہے اس زنا کیا ہو یا اس نے چوری کی ہو۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا چاہے اس نے زنا کیا ہو چاہے اس نے چوری کی ہو۔ ابوذر کی ناک خاک آلود ہو۔ ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ بعد میں جب بھی یہ حدیث بیان کرتے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے الفاظ ابوذر کے «على رغم» ( «وإن رغم أنف أبي ذر‏.‏» ) ضرور بیان کرتے۔ ابوعبداللہ امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ نے کہا یہ صورت کہ ( صرف کلمہ سے جنت میں داخل ہو گا ) یہ اس وقت ہو گی جب موت کے وقت یا اس سے پہلے ( گناہوں سے ) توبہ کی اور کہا کہ «لا إله إلا الله» اس کی مغفرت ہو جائے گی۔

English Translation

Narrated Abu Dharr: I came to the Prophet while he was wearing white clothes and sleeping. Then I went back to him again after he had got up from his sleep. He said, Nobody says: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah' and then later on he dies while believing in that, except that he will enter Paradise. I said, Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft? He said. 'Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft. I said, Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft? He said. 'Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft. I said, 'Even it he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft?' He said, Even if he had committed illegal sexual intercourse and theft, inspite of the Abu Dharr's dislike. Abu `Abdullah said, This is at the time of death or before it if one repents and regrets and says None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He will be forgiven his sins.
