حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : نَهَانَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَشْرَبَ فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ ، وَأَنْ نَأْكُلَ فِيهَا ، وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ وَالدِّيبَاجِ وَأَنْ نَجْلِسَ عَلَيْهِ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے علی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے وہب بن جریر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ان کے والد نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے ابن ابی نجیح سے سنا، انہوں نے مجاہد سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی لیلیٰ سے اور ان سے حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں سونے اور چاندی کے برتن میں پینے اور کھانے سے منع فرمایا تھا اور ریشم اور دیباج پہننے اور اس پر بیٹھنے سے منع فرمایا تھا۔

English Translation

Narrated Hudhaifa: The Prophet forbade us to drink out of gold and silver vessels, or eat in it, Ann also forbade the wearing of silk and Dibaj or sitting on it.
