حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْوَاشِمَاتِ وَالْمُتَنَمِّصَاتِ وَالْمُتَفَلِّجَاتِ لِلْحُسْنِ ، الْمُغَيِّرَاتِ خَلْقَ اللَّهِ ، مَا لِي لَا أَلْعَنُ مَنْ لَعَنَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ .

Urdu Translation

مجھ سے محمد بن مقاتل نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، کہا ہم کو سفیان بن عیینہ نے خبر دی، انہیں منصور نے، انہیں ابراہیم نخعی نے، انہیں علقمہ نے اور ان سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ   اللہ تعالیٰ نے گودنے والیوں پر اور گدوانے والیوں پر اور چہرے کے بال اکھاڑنے والیوں پر اور خوبصورتی پیدا کرنے کے لیے سامنے کے دانتوں کے درمیان کشادگی کرنے والیوں پر جو اللہ کی پیدائش میں تبدیلی کرتی ہیں، لعنت بھیجی ہے پھر میں کیوں نہ ان پر لعنت بھیجوں جن پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لعنت بھیجی ہے اور وہ اللہ کی کتاب میں موجود ہے۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn Mas`ud: Allah has cursed those women who practise tattooing or get it done for themselves, and those who remove hair from their faces, and those who create spaces between their teeth artificially to look beautiful, such ladies as change the features created by Allah. Why then shall I not curse those whom Allah's Apostle has cursed and who are cursed in Allah's Book too?
