حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ خَالِدٍ بِنْتِ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَتْ : أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ أَبِي وَعَلَيَّ قَمِيصٌ أَصْفَرُ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : سَنَهْ سَنَهْ ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : وَهِيَ بِالْحَبَشِيَّةِ حَسَنَةٌ ، قَالَتْ : فَذَهَبْتُ أَلْعَبُ بِخَاتَمِ النُّبُوَّةِ فَزَبَرَنِي أَبِي ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : دَعْهَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَبْلِي وَأَخْلِقِي ثُمَّ أَبْلِي وَأَخْلِقِي ثُمَّ أَبْلِي وَأَخْلِقِي ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ : فَبَقِيَتْ حَتَّى ذَكَرَ ، يَعْنِي مِنْ بَقَائِهَا .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے حبان بن موسیٰ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم کو عبداللہ بن مبارک نے خبر دی، انہیں خالد بن سعید نے، انہیں ان کے والد نے، ان سے ام خالد بنت سعید رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ   میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں اپنے والد کے ساتھ حاضر ہوئی۔ میں ایک زرد قمیص پہنے ہوئے تھی۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، ”سنہ سنہ“ عبداللہ بن مبارک نے کہا کہ یہ حبشی زبان میں ”اچھا“ کے معنی میں ہے۔ ام خالد نے بیان کیا کہ پھر میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خاتم نبوت سے کھیلنے لگی تو میرے والد نے مجھے ڈانٹا لیکن نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اسے کھیلنے دو پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تم ایک زمانہ تک زندہ رہو گی اللہ تعالیٰ تمہاری عمر خوب طویل کرے، تمہاری زندگی دراز ہو۔ عبداللہ نے بیان کیا چنانچہ انہوں نے بہت ہی طویل عمر پائی اور ان کی طول عمر کے چرچے ہونے لگے۔

English Translation

Narrated Sa`id: Um Khalid bint Khalid bin Sa`id said, I came to Allah's Apostle along with my father and I was wearing a yellow shirt. Allah's Apostle said, Sanah Sanah! (`Abdullah, the sub-narrator said, It means, 'Nice, nice!' in the Ethiopian language. ) Um Khalid added, Then I started playing with the seal of Prophethood. My father admonished me. But Allah's Apostle said (to my father), Leave her, Allah's Apostle (then addressing me) said, May you live so long that your dress gets worn out, and you will mend it many times, and then wear another till it gets worn out (i.e. May Allah prolong your life). (The sub-narrator, `Abdullah aid, That garment (which she was wearing remained usable for a long period. ).
