حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْبَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، كُلُّ ضَعِيفٍ مُتَضَاعِفٍ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ ، أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِأَهْلِ النَّارِ ، كُلُّ عُتُلٍّ جَوَّاظٍ مُسْتَكْبِرٍ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے محمد بن کثیر نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم کو سفیان بن عیینہ نے خبر دی، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے معبد بن خالد قیسی نے بیان کیا، ان سے حارثہ بن وہب خزاعی رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کیا میں تمہیں جنت والوں کی خبر نہ دوں۔ ہر کمزور و تواضع کرنے والا اگر وہ ( اللہ کا نام لے کر ) قسم کھا لے تو اللہ اس کی قسم پوری کر دے۔ کیا میں تمہیں دوزخ والوں کی خبر نہ دوں ہر تند خو، اکڑ کر چلنے والا اور متکبر۔

English Translation

Narrated Haritha bin Wahb: Al-Khuzai: The Prophet said, Shall I inform you about the people of Paradise? They comprise every obscure unimportant humble person, and if he takes Allah's Oath that he will do that thing, Allah will fulfill his oath (by doing that). Shall I inform you about the people of the Fire? They comprise every cruel, violent, proud and conceited person.
