Once I told him that I could not sit firm on horses. He stroked me on the chest with his hand, and said, O Allah! Make him firm and make him a guiding and a rightly guided man.

وَلَقَدْ شَكَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ أَنِّي لَا أَثْبُتُ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ فَضَرَبَ بِيَدِهِ فِي صَدْرِي وَقَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْهُ وَاجْعَلْهُ هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا .

میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شکایت کی کہ   میں گھوڑے پر جم کر نہیں بیٹھ پاتا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے سینے پر مارا اور دعا کی «اللهم ثبته واجعله هاديا مهديا» ”اے اللہ! اسے ثبات فرما، اسے ہدایت کرنے والا اور خود ہدایت پایا ہوا بنا۔“
