حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ وَاقِدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : وَيْلَكُمْ أَوْ وَيْحَكُمْ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : شَكَّ هُوَ لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ ، وَقَالَ النَّضْرُ : ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ وَيْحَكُمْ ، وَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ : عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَيْلَكُمْ أَوْ وَيْحَكُمْ .

Urdu Translation

ہم سے عبداللہ بن عبدالوہاب نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے خالد بن حارث نے بیان کیا، ان سے شعبہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے واقد بن محمد بن زید نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ان کے والد سے سنا اور انہوں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے بیان کیا کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، افسوس ( «ويلكم» یا «ويحكم» ) شعبہ نے بیان کیا کہ شک ان کے شیخ ( واقد بن محمد کو ) تھا۔ میرے بعد تم کافر نہ ہو جانا کہ ایک دوسرے کی گردن مارنے لگو۔ اور نضر نے شعبہ سے بیان کیا «ويحكم» اور عمر بن محمد نے اپنے والد سے «ويلكم» یا «ويحكم» کے لفظ نقل کئے ہیں۔

English Translation

Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet said, Wailakum (woe to you) or waihakum (May Allah be merciful to you). Shu`ba is not sure as to which was the right word. Do not become disbelievers after me by cutting the necks of one another.
