Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet said, None of you should say Khabuthat Nafsi, but he is recommended to say 'Laqisat Nafsi.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي ، وَلَكِنْ لِيَقُلْ لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي .

ہم سے محمد بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، ان سے ہشام بن عروہ نے، ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہ   نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”تم میں کوئی شخص یہ نہ کہے کہ میرا نفس پلید ہو گیا ہے بلکہ یہ کہے کہ میرا دل خراب یا پریشان ہو گیا۔“
